August Faculty and Staff Learning Opportunities

The beginning of the semester can be a very busy time for all of us. Professional development or personal learning often get pushed further from our mind. One of the best ways to continue to persue interests or skills is to utilize online learning. LinkedIn Learning is available to all College of Charleston students, faculty and staff. You can access it from the LinkedIn Learning tile in MyPortal. In the event that courses are assigned to a faculty or staff member, the best way to access those courses are through CougarED. CougarED is available to all employees, including student employees and also includes courses to build your professional skills. Using CougarED will keep a record of your participation and completion. In most cases a 'course completed' notification will be sent to the individual, group or department that assigned the course to you.

Microsoft Teams training from Microsoft is also available as a benefit from Microsoft with no additional cost to the College. This training opportunity will only be available with continued interest and enrollment in the sessions. If you, your group, or department are interested in Microsoft Teams training, please  contact hamtl@cofc.edu.

The IT Training Coordinator is also working to increase the availability of on-line, on-demand content by creating and recording training sessions.

Check back later for additional information and content.
